Willow – Poem (c)

(From Tape Four)

Poets, dream weavers, believers,
Holding beauty bestow gifts impossible to avoid
Because they’re yours
Like raindrops to the sea
There is no difference
how can there be
if we are all one,
like teardrops sad at separation from the whole
Yet knowing this is the way it is, now
All can change, all must change,
all will change, it’s the way
So when you look at the stars remember,
remember the beginning if you can,
And anyway its the only way anything is ever created,
So that’s who we are, stars,
Shining still, yet broken like sand, countless parts,
Each itself, perfect.
